The open cloister area on the West side of Swift Hall has been a popular gathering space since the building was opened. In 2013, using grant from the Julie and Parker Hall Botanic Garden Endowment it was transformed from a sparse paved area into an inviting space with stone fountains, seating areas and abundant plant life.
