The framed work in the fourth-floor hallway across from the stairwell is a reproduction of The Thessaloniki Epitaphios, an embroidered liturgical textile dating from around 1300. The center scene depicts the mourning of the sacrificed Christ around whom is a procession of angels. The mirrored left and right scenes depict the Communion of the Apostles.
