Lecture Hall

Swift’s third floor Lecture Hall used to serve as the school’s main lecture room and originally housed the Divinity School’s library. The school’s book collection moved to the Joseph Regenstein library when that building was completed in 1970. One of the most notable features of the Lecture Hall remains its “reading angels” which have watched over generations of students, faculty and staff during some of the most important moments of their time at the Divinity School.
