The relief when one first enters Swift Hall reads, “This Building Dedicated To The Study of Religion Was Erected by Mrs. Ann Higgins Swift In 1925.” While the trustees of the university may have known, prior to its dedication, the identity of the donor who had gifted the funds responsible for the construction of this building was not known by the general public.
